SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL PARKS WEEK 2020

The South African National Parks (SANParks) observes the SA National Parks Week. During this week, all national parks are accessible to South Africans for free.

The theme for this year’s celebration is “Know Your National Parks”. The theme aims to make national parks central to various communities’ lifestyles. Most South Africans have never been to national parks. With the Democratic order in place, SANParks aims to get an inclusive system of parks in place.

We spoke to Mr Albi Modise, the spokesperson for the Department of Environment, Forestry and Fisheries, about the SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL PARKS WEEK 2020.
