It was a star-studded night at the 2019 MTV VMA ceremony that was held at the Prudential Centre, in New Jersey, NY.
The world’s favourite musicians gathered at the theatre to celebrate the best in music in the game.
One of the biggest moments was the 2019 MTV VMA Vanguard award handed to Missy Elliot, just days after she released her smashing album, Iconology. Missy is also inducted as the first female rapper into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame 2019.
She got emotional with all the love she received after social media campaigns and petitions to get her the award.
